About Us

Our charity exists to give neighbourly support to older, less mobile and isolated people in the Mill Hill and Burnt Oak areas of the London Borough of Barnet. At the core of the charity’s operations – and we could not function without them – is a large team of local volunteers who help to deliver a variety of services.

This is a community-based charity that harnesses the skills and goodwill of volunteers (currently 95) to support vulnerable people in their community. We frequently get referrals from local hospitals, doctors, district nurses, the local social services and are often contacted by the families of elderly local residents asking for help. We run a range of weekly services through most of the year which aim to reduce isolation and enable our clients to remain in their local community
